Consumer Reports recently ranked Toshiba projection TV pretty highly, up there with Sony and Hitachi. I’ve seen a similar model in my local store and was impressed by the image quality. I think a lot of technies over-rate DLP; if you watch standard TV and DVDs I doubt you’ll notice any difference between DLP and LCD-based RPTVs. LCD RPTVs from Sony and Hitachi are also getting better each day. Is DLP worth the extra bucks? It’s hard to say, although I cannot deny that like plasma, DLP just sounds so “cutting-edge” these days.

THE TV WAS SHIPPED VERY FAST AND OFFERES OUTSTANDING PICTURE QUALITY. TV DOES NOT HAVE THE HDTV TUNER. SO I ENDED UP BUYING A HDTV TUNER (SAMSUNG) FROM EBAY TO GET THE FREE AIR HDTV. I USED COMPONENT CABLES THAT CAME WITH THE TUNER. PICTURE IS JUST MAGNIFICIENT.

I received my Toshiba 2 weeks ago and can’t be happier. Hook it up to an Xbox and have friends over for an unbeatable Halo tournament. Very cool

Everything I’ve read about this TV has been stellar. I can’t wait to get mine.
That being said I have cancelled my order with amazon after 3 “We wanted to let you know that there is a delay with item(s)
in the order you placed on February 08 2005″ emails.
I have placed the order elsewhere (a company with a telephone #).

We are very happy with our television. It was wonderful to have it delivered to us in only 3 days. The tv plus the delivery charge was less expensive than if we had bought it locally.
We will definitely buy from Amazon.com again.
