ok, everyone: I didn’t buy this, but it is the exact same thing as the digital blue that was for sale in earlier years! I have the digital blue, and it the exact same camera exept for the logo!!! Sinse it wast made by intel like the D.B was, isn’t that plagarism?

I haven’t bought this toy yet but it looks pretty kool.
I was wondering if you could just make plain old movies and forget the singing all together? Because i dn’t think they sell the regualr digital blues anymore.

The Amercian Idol video maker is the same thing as digital blue only with different software and a microphone. And since it is made by the same company as Digital Blue, how could that be unlawful. It is a brilliant marketing scheme from the manufacturer to sell all the leftover models from last year with a new logo and and additional features, that make kids ask for it for xmas.

I ordered this item on 12-16-2005. I was informed by Alhambrabooks on 12-21-2005 that this item was unavailable, would not be shipped and that my account would be credited. To date, 1-20-2006, a month later, the charge remains on my account and has not been credited as promised. This does not seem like a very good business practice. Please credit my account immediately for an item that was never shipped from this source.
